Christmas Markets in Norfolk in 2025
Norfolk may not have the biggest Christmas markets in England, but the Christmas markets here still have plenty of festive fun, food, and fantastic gifts. You should definitely check out at least one to get into the holiday spirit.
Some take place in conjunction with the local Christmas Light Switch On.

Norfolk Festive Food and Gift Show
When: 7 – 9 November
Head to the Norfolk Showground to do your Christmas shopping at a festive event that all the family can enjoy. Browse over 250 stalls and sample food and drinks inside the Main Exhibition Hall at the home of the Royal Norfolk Show.

Norfolk Artisan Christmas Fair
When: 8 – 9 November
Norfolk Artisan Fair at Christmas (formerly known as Christmas Fair at Holt Hall) now takes place at Fakenham Racecourse. With over 100 exhibitors, you do not want to miss this. You can check out some of the very best that Norfolk has to offer with a range of food, drink and gifts for Christmas, but you will need a ticket.

Christmas Craft, Food, and Gift Fair at Sandringham
When: 14 – 16 November
Browse stalls full of crafts, food, and gifts at this popular Christmas fair at Sandringham. There will also be an array of music to enjoy throughout the weekend.
You will need a ticket for the Sandringham Christmas Market which you can purchase here.
*You could also book tickets to see the Luminate light trail which also takes place at the Sandringham Estate.
Great Yarmouth Christmas Fayre
When: 21 – 23 November
Enjoy three days of festive crafts, gifts and food inside the historic Great Yarmouth Minster of St. Nicholas Church. This year there will be over 30 specialist stalls.

Creake Abbey Christmas Gift Fair
When: 22 November
The Creake Abbey Christmas Gift Fair includes over 60 stands showcasing Norfolk’s creative talent. There will be artists of all kinds including jewellers, painters, needlecrafters, a gilder and many producers of fine goods including candles and wax melts, garments, fashion accessories, food and treats for four legged friends.
You don’t need to book any tickets in advance. This event is free to attend and has free parking.

Wells Christmas Tide Craft Fair
When: 22 – 23 November
Wells-Next-the-Sea holds a Christmas market in the Maltings to go along with their Christmas Light Switch-on which also includes Santa arriving by boat.

Norwich Vegan’s Christmas Market
When: 23 November
There will be a wide variety of stalls with lots of tasty vegan food and drink at the Forum in Norwich. It’s the perfect place to shop for all the vegans in your life and support local businesses too. Admission is free.

Pensthorpe Christmas Market
When: 23 November
Enjoy some of the region’s best food and drink suppliers, artists and craft makers in a relaxed and spacious outdoor environment. Find bespoke gifts and delicious treats made from boutique producers.
There is a small admission charge per person over 16. Note that entry to the Christmas Market does not include entry into the reserve. Since the market is outside the reserve, dogs are welcome.

Festive Fair at The Forum
When: 27 – 30 November
Christmas cheer will fill the area inside and outside the Forum as thousands of visitors head to the Festive Fair. Everyone is welcome, you can bring the dogs along too as there will be festive treats for them too. It is a free event.

Gorleston Christmas Market
When: 29 November
Gorleston-on-Sea has an indoor market at the historic Pavilion Theatre. Santa will be there to visit with the children and give them the chance to win a free ticket to this year’s pantomime.

Hunstanton Christmas Food & Gift Fair
When: 30 November
Hunstanton will be having a food and gift fayre at the Town Hall to go along with their Christmas light switch on.

When: 4 – 6 December

King’s Lynn Festive Merchants Christmas Market
When: 6 – 7 December
The Tuesday Market Place in King’s Lynn Town Centre will be hosting a holiday market featuring locally produced crafts, food and drink. You can find lots of special gifts or just treat yourself to some festive food and drink.

Fierce Babe Xmas Market
When: 7 December
You can do your shopping at The Assembly House, known as one of the best places to have afternoon tea in Norwich. They will have over 25 independent makers and creators who identify as women, trans, or part of the LGBTQ+ community, with stalls full of jewels, prints, homeware, accessories and all sorts of lush stuff!

The Stalham Yuletide Market
When: 7 December
Stalham will have more than 40 stalls on the High Street (which will be closed to traffic) and in the Town Hall. You will be able to find food, drink, wreathes, jewellery, cards, vintage ware, handmade clothes, raffles, tombolas, preserves, and more.
St Mary’s Church will have live music and the annual Christmas Tree Festival. The Baptist Church will have Father Christmas, storytelling, live music and face painting.
You are encouraged to wear Victorian period costumes. Parking is free.

Christmas Food, Drink & Gift Market, Holkham
When: 12 – 14 December
Holkham’s popular Christmas market has live music, plenty of stalls, and a street food court. It takes place both inside the Lady Elizabeth Wing and outside in the courtyard, so be sure to dress for the weather.
